THE MEETING OF THE STATE BORDER EXPERTS OF THE REPUBLIC OF LITHUANIA AND THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION TOOK PLACE.
On July 13-16, 2017 the meeting of the mutual Lithuanian Republic and Russian Federation Geodesy and cartography technical working group took place. During the meeting the experts completed compilation of finalized demarcation document layouts in the Lithuanian and Russian languages.
In the meeting also participated Gintautas Vasiulis, chairman of the Government Commission to delimitate and demarcate the state border, to identify the exclusive economic zone in the Baltic Sea and to address state border issues, ambassador of Eastern neighborhood politics for special orders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Danielius Kuprys, director of the National land service under the Ministry of Agriculture, Jurij Kornijenko, deputy director of the National Land Service, deputy director Tomas Ladukas, Jurgita Spuraite, head of the geodesy, spatial information and cartography division, state border experts from Lithuania and Russian Federation.
The final documents of the state border between the Lithuanian Republic and Russian Federation are scheduled to be completed by December, 2017.
